Malva oil painting - Parisian promenade
20 February 2020
Description

Signed “Malva 1984”; 24”Hx36”W; oil on canvas; custom framed; Neo-impressionist depiction of late-19th century promenade along the Seine(?), presumably Paris.

Provenance

I acquired this painting from my employer, Delta Faucet - Carmel, IN, circa 2003 at an in-house fundraiser auction. Delta had a somewhat extensive collection at their HQ, at which I worked at the time. An attached accompanying card indicates it was sold to Delta by Van Riper Gallery (Carmel, IN).
