High back velvet upholstered arm chair with dark wood arms and legs. Suble carving on the front legs. The back has a softly curved top. The chair is upholstered in a beautiful carmel velvet.

The overall height is 42" and the overall width is 25". The seat is approx. 20" wide and 20" deep

I have owned this piece for thirty years. It has had a place at the entry to our home and has been a perfect landing spot for purses and coats for visitors as well as a great spot to put on shoes. My kids called it the throne and it has been used for everything from inpromptu plays to extra seating for meals.
