What does this mean?

Hi Dean,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. So that I may best assist you, can you please confirm if you have just one of each glass or if you have a larger set, and if so, how many of each are in the set?

Dean k ziegler Aug 18, 16:42 UTC

24 parfait glasses, 14 cone-shaped/martini glasses.

Thanks, Dean.
Strictly speaking, martini glasses have straight sides - a really triangular form; what you have are more appropriately called goblets because of the slightly curved sides and would have been used to served wine or water, depending on the size and depth of the bowl (the early champagne coupes have even more rounded was not until much later that they came to have elongated bowls).
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

A large set of American Art Deco etched glass barware
Unattributed maker, circa 1930s
comprising 14 wine goblets (6 inches high, 4 inches diameter) and 24 parfait glasses (4 3/4 inches high, 3 inches diameter)
with stylized foliate decoration; purportedly unmarked
$500-800 for the set*
