Painting stolen from St. Francis Hospital, Bartlett, TN 2020 just after the out break of COVID, the exhibit hall where the paintings were on display had been locked from public view due to the out break, once the hall was reopen the theft was discovered. To this day the painting has not been recovered. Frederick Lyle Morris, born 1957, American / European artist, sketched and sold small works while station in England, Germany, France, Korea, Japan, New York, Michigan "The Swann" Gallery, Norfolk VA "The Chrysler Museum" France Paris" This painting was sold to a family member in Aschaffenburg Germany. Notes indicate 30 paintings by Lyle were sold in Aschaffenburg, Germany, while letters & notes indicate he sold paintings in France and England from 1983-1998. Frederick Lyle Bartholomew von Thrauthemburg Graf von Morsbach Morris, lived in Ixheim, Germany for many years, then worked and in Furth-Linnenbach while exhibiting and selling art in Heppenheim, Linnenbach, Berlin and Frankfurt Germany; Frederick Lyle lived in Waegan, Korea, from 2004-2006 sold paintings at various locations and then moved on to Japan where he studied art and sold several paintings at local markets. He toured China for almost a year by invitation, sold several paintings and gave others away as a goodwill gesture. Then returned to the USA, Colorado Springs, Colorado, exhibit with the Beacham art gallery from 2006-2009, Bufe Gallery from 2009 -2012 and 2012-present at the Mid-South Art Gallery, Bartlett, TN, and WKNO Gallery 91, Memphis. He is on permanent exhibit at the Christian Brothers University, Memphis, and Park University, OK. and the Morris Collection, Aschaffenburg, Germany.
