What does this mean?

Hello and thank you for your appraisal inquiry with Mearto. The item presented appears to be reprint woodblock designed by Miyagawa Shuntei (Japanese, 1873 - 1914). The scene depicts a tea servicing and does present some severe moisture damage. The print is a rerint after the artist's passing and is missing publisher seal, meaning it is likely a reproduction print. The estimate provided is based on recent auction estimates and results of this work and other comparable woodblocks after works by Shuntei. The estimate is contingent on a full condition report. Please note asking or dealer prices may vary. Thank you and please take care.

Are the reprints usually signed in pencil?

Hi Djordje,
Very few woodblocks are include a live signature. The inscriptions to the margin were not added by the artist hand. They were more likely added to note the artist and title (or subject).

Hello Djordje,
A 3rd party commented on this item and help to provide further information. The original woodblock was by Katsukawa Shunshô (Japanese, 1726–1792) and is titled "Osen of the Kagiya." The original block dates to the Edo period. The impression here remains to be a reproduction. I have adjusted the estimate to reflect the update and considering the item is a reproduction. Thanks you.
