Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a chinese lidded baluster porcelain vase of recent production, partly handpainted with additional gloss gold transfer printing and moriage, trying to imitate japanese Kyo-Yaki earthenware, marked at the base "Satsuma" under the Shimazu family crest. This is a porcelain vase and not yellowish earthenware as you would expect from a genuine Kyo-yaki Kyoto Chrysanthemum decorated vase. The vase has some decorative value and most likely a high sentimental value for you but no market value unfortunately.
