What does this mean?

Hi Kristen,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
I just commented on the 'Desert Adobe' painting you've also submitted an inquiry on - it looks like the same artist.
Can you tell me the size (height and width) as well as identify the name of the gallery on the back of the painting so I can see if that gives me any leads.

Many thanks!
Delia

Both of these are 30x27. Unfortunately, there is no name
for the gallery, only a sticker with the address which is now a chiropractor I think. The address is: 1837 W Guadalupe Rd Ste 117 Mesa AZ 85202
Wait! Omg there is a phone number so small! 480-926-4775!!!

Neither the address nor the phone number lead to anything so I'm going to start running through Arizona artists with those initials, which look to me like "CR" - is that what that looks like to you? It may take a bit of time to run through everyone but the good news is that once I can find the artist, the riddle will be solved for both this and the 'Desert Adobe' painting you've submitted an inquiry for.
Thanks to confirm on the initials,
Delia

Hi Kristen,
I've drawn a blank but if it's OK with you, I'll send a photo of both paintings - and their signatures - to an expert on Southwestern American art I know who is familiar with lesser-known artists that may not show up in the artist databases.
I need your OK to forward photos and also to seek outside advice (no additional cost to you).
Thanks to advise,
Delia

I was talking with my husband and he said a few years ago he believes he found them as part of a 5 painting series. That’s all he can remember. I am fine with you forwarding them. Thank you!

Hi Kristen,
I've *finally* heard back from my colleague, who has also come up with a blank even after I passed along the thought that these might have been from a series. But they do have a decorative merit and if you choose to sell them, I would recommend keeping them together, though I have valued them individually - you can combine the values if you sell these together.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

Southwest American School, mid 20th Century
Desert Cactus Blooms, n.d.
acrylic on canvas
30 by 27 inches, framed
signed indistinctly (C.R.) lower right
PROVENANCE: left in a house the client acquired
$200-300*
