This is an antique Japanese later 19th century, Meiji period, molded bronze planter or jardiniere. The design is made in the manner to emulate carved lacquer or cinnabar wares. For cast metal, this is highly detailed. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.

Please add just a more clear, in-focus, close-up of the mark on the underside. No other images are needed.
Please add images of the underside and an overhead view too. This appears to be on a base which looks like a different material. Does a magnet stick to the jardiniere and the base?
