Hummel marked angel child with blowing a trumpet. 5 inches high. Trumpet extends approximately .75 inch. Green sack on left side. Orange dress with gold stars. Two wings on back.
My mother owned it. She received it from a friend who had it in her collection. I do not know where the friend acquired it.
Thank you for your request and your patience. My sincere apologies for the delay.
The apprised object is a porcelain figurine made by the manufacturer Goebel and after the designs of Maria Innocentia Hummel (1909-1946). The name of this model is "Little Gabriel" and the hallmarks indicate that this piece was made between 1935-1949 (TMK-I). This means this in a piece of the earliest production of Goebel. It has a height of 5 inches.
This piece is in good condition and there are no serious damages visible.
An estimation would be between 60 to 120 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
With best regards,
