Vintage LV Speedy 35
This vintage LV speedy 35 has been authenticated by ProAuthenticators. Unlike the new ones, there are lots of differences between them. First noticeable difference is that there is no code on this piece. Normally a code is needed in order to authenticate the bag but this one does not have one. There also is no logo. The logo is usually found embossed on the outer tongue of the bag. This one had none. Third there is a difference in the way the handles are connected to the bag especially on the interior. Fourth is that the canvas is a little softer than the newer ones. The bag is in very good condition. There are no flaws. The stitching inside is somewhat messy and the interior as compared to the newer ones is a bit rough. The padlock is still there but key is missing. Proauthenticators estimated this bag was manufactured between 1975 to 1983. However, the condition of this bag is better than the condition of newer ones (made in the 90's and up). Oh and the zipper which was the most vital sign in determining whether it was vintage LV or a replica , they call it the eclair zipper. One who is not knowledgeable with vintage LV would take this as a replica with the absence of the code but it isnt.It is an original. Very surprised with the bag's condition. it still looks good. No flaws.
