Vase ornament or ?
Weight is 1371g width at top 140mm width at base 90mm height 120mm This was found approx 35yrs ago in the Highlands of Scotland on top of a remote hill. Has been in my possession since and don't know much more about it other than it is very solid, the markings are unusual and possibly some sort of ornament.

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. The presented object appears to be a goblet or vase with the measurements of 120 mm height. This object was made out of stone with fossil Crinoids and the brighter structure we see are the stems of these fossilized animals. This goblet was probably made in the late 19th or more probably in the 20th century.
This piece is in good condition and there are no serious damages visible.
An estimation would be between 150 to 300 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
