My father was the manager of a Country Club in 1967 that hosted a PGA tour event. The distiller Stizel-Weller provided custom-labeled bottles of their 5-Year Aged bourbon for the event. Recently, my mother passed away, and in helping my Dad begin the cleanout of their house, we rediscovered the pristine and fully sealed bottle. Since it has been stored in a basement liquor cabinet, mostly in the dark and at cooler temps, I believe the spirits should be in great shape. The cork looks good, and as I said, the paper seals are still intact.
