Tizona Sword
41.5 inches high. 2 inches wide at the thickest point of the sword. 8 inches wide at the decorative addition. Uncertain of the specific material/metal as it is quite worn. The handle is wood wrapped in braided wire and the decorative additions have a gold like tint to them.
When tearing down part of a building I was renting from years ago it was found in the floorboards. I wish I had better knowledge of its whereabouts beforehand.

The presented object appears to be a modern replica of the famous sword with the name "Tizona" belonging to the Spanish national hero Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar (c. 1043 – 10 July 1099) or also known as El Cid. This reproduction is stamped on the blade "Made in Spain" and was proaböy made in the middle of the 20th century. This piece is in mad condition and there are rust stains on the surface visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 30 to 60 USD.
