The presented object appears to be a so-called Japanese "Shikitō" which means this is a parade sword for an officer of the Imperial Japanese Navy. This mixture from European influences and the Japanese sword tradition was introduced in 1886 and was used until 1945. These swords were used by officers and officer candidates.
This piece is in medium condition and there are no serious damages visible.
An estimation would be between 150 to 300 USD.
