The artwork depicts a style and motif which reminds of the famous artist Jean-Michel BASQUIAT (1960-1988) and appears to be signed on the reverse side. Nor the style, the quality of the composition neither the handwriting is comparable to authenticated artworks by Jean-Michel BASQUIAT (1960-1988).
Works by this artist were recently offered and sold on the international auction market.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
These arguments classify this artwork as a forgery.
