Good afternoon, Sandra,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry and for providing me with additional information to complete this appraisal.
There are a few pottery pigs that can command higher prices at auction are those made by the Anna Pottery company, and which were flasks, not banks. A few recent sales of THOSE pigs are here:

The following auction sales of similar but unattributed pig BANKS have been used to research the fair market value of your pig bank:

Based on the photographs and information provided, and subject to examination, you have:

A redware pottery pig bank
American or European, late 19th/early 20th century
4 inches high, 5 inches long
$100-200 (represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary).

Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise, and thank you for using Mearto.

Approximately 5 inches in length and 4inches tall . There aren’t any identifiable markings to identify the maker . I’m afraid the one I saw on Kovels was so long ago I can’t remember any of the details. Thank you
