What does this mean?

Hi Jean,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
If you'd like for your appraisal to include dimensions, which is customary, please forward in the comments section - at your convenience - the overall height, width to the outside of both arms and the length of the rockers and I'll update this ASAP.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

A Mission style turned and planed oak rocking armchair
Probably American, first half 20th Century
The shaped crest raised over 7 knife-blade spindles flanked by turned stiles issuing scrolling arms with ring-turned flaring supports, over a shaped seat with remnants of a label underneath, raised on four baluster- and ring-turned legs joined by a double box stretcher, all on rockers. With some metal rod supports throughout.
(DIMENSIONS)
CONDITION: appears to be in good condition.
PROVENANCE: acquired at an estate sale approximately 40 years ago
$200-300*
