This is one of 50 made for Hitler to be posted in his top 50 facilities for his top officers. This one was found in the officers office of a holocaust camp col. Office the camp commander. During a euro and American raid it was recovered by a soldier along with a woman that was locked in the officers closet who was starving to death. The soldier not only rescued the woman but also the wall clock. He later married the woman. My family has been very close friends of the soldier by chance through my dad who is in his 60s now. Leena is the rescued woman and the soldier was mike. Mike owned and ran a automotive garage near eSpringdale north Carolina and leena ran section 8 apartments after she came to the state's with mike. Leena and mike have since passed both in the last 15 years. They were married and later in the 80s gave my dad the grandfather clock as a gift for all the years of kindness he showed them both over the years. They even treated him as if he was their own son. I myself have been trying for years to get more information on the clock even using the internet bit have never found any of the other 50 clocks that were made for Hitler that he had ordered. Everything I know is from what mike and leena told me when I was younger and I would like more information and my parents would like to see what it is worth for insurance value only.
