I've seen this model described as a pheasant, or without a specific species designation and never as a quetzal bird. To err on the side of caution, "bird" is sufficient for the market.

A vintage Murano hand-blown glass bird
Made in Murano, Italy, mid 20th Century
The bird with clear comb, amberina neck and body, and blue/green tail.
