White canvas monogram, Leather handles and trim, insert date MI0042, H24cm W36cm. Good condition, never used.
I was given the bag and put it away, without giving it a second thought. My daughter returned from Australia and was looking on my shelves for a bag and took this one and then brought it back saying she couldn't use it as she thought it was an original, this piqued my interest. I think it dates from April 2002.

It is a beautiful handbag. Such vintage designer handbags are being offered at auction on a regular basis.
I have looked throughly at the handbag and also believe it to be an authentic Louis Vuitton handbag. The tanned leather appears to have been darkened by age and sunlight - on newer bags it is much lighter. However apart from this the handbag appears to be in good condition without signs of wear or use or any kind of damages.
Louis Vuitton handbags are always very popular amongst collectors and dealers and I believe that your handbag would attract the attention of both collectors and dealers if it came up for auction.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online designer accessories auction, where I believe the Louis Vuitton handbag has the best chance of realising its fullest potential.
