For Erin Marie The first picture is of the whole group. Then pics of the three plates.
Inherited from my mother
Dear Gregory,
I adore your thoughtfulness in setting up your collection display. It shows so much respect for your Mother's collection. Hummel collectors do attach a 'little' premium on pieces which have their original boxes, so that's a great little cherry on top.
I currently have a total count of fourteen items/groupings to appraise for you and will begin working with these this afternoon. Cheers, enjoy your afternoon and let me know if you have any follow-up questions.
Most Sincerely,
Erin-Marie
Hello Gregory,
I hope all is well, please find the following information regarding the Hummel Ceramic Collector's Plates from your mother's collection. These were released annually between 1971 and 1999. I suspect she will have a full set and have evaluated this as a full set.
In the case of this piece I would recommend selling it through an online venue like EBay, Etsy or Ruby Lane, these platforms have a history of selling Hummel ceramic figurines and have a global reach. Having the boxes will not only make them more desirable but easier to ship.
Sincerely,
Erin-Marie
Erin, are you evaluating each plate at 250-350 or all three together for $250-300?
Erin, are you evaluating each plate at 250-350 or all three together for $250-300?
Dear Gregory,
I am evaluating a full set of twenty-eight because I think you will find that she has the full set. Individually, they sell between $5 - $10USD each.
Sincerely,
Erin-Marie
Erin,
I just wrote back to you a nice response but somehow I hit a key on my keyboard and deleted the whole body of the message, ouch.
So. Thank you for your due diligence and I appreciate all your work.
I look forward to learning about the Hummels.
Thank you Erin
Greg
