What does this mean?

Hello Frederick,

Thank you for your appraisals with Mearto. The item presented appears to be a giclée on canvas after a photograph taken by Jon Woodhams (Tennessee) titled "Forest in the Autumn Light." The image was first captured via photography, possibly manipulated in a photo editing software, then printed on a large scale laser printer.

You can find other works and purchased a variety of giclées on his websites. -

Unfortunately, Woodhams is not a listed artist and does not hold auction records. It appears he is commercial or retail artist at this point. With that said, a fair market value would be based on the retail price of the object. I selected this image in the size and material noted in your description and the total came to about $215. A typical fair market value in a secondary setting would be a range from a third to half of the retail price. Therefore, the estimate provided is based on that those measurements. Thank you and please take care.
