The print was a Christmas present given by the artist to my Father.
The appraised work appears to be a lithograph or possibly etching executed by American artist Edward Hagedorn (1902-1982). The print depicts an architectural structure similar to the Colosseum in Rome, with a series of repeating rounded arches. The artist working in both painting and printmaking and lived in the San Francisco area most of his life. He maintained a studio in Berkeley until his death. The estimate provided is based on comparables recently offered and sold at auction.
