What does this mean?

Hello Travis,

Thank you for your appraisal inquiry with Mearto. The item presented appears to be an ink painting on delicate paper in the tradition Ming style. The work depicts perched birds on a blossoming tree and measures approximately 2 by 4 feet. Unfortunately, I could not fully translate the inscription to the upper corner. However, it may partially translate to "white-head birds." It also makes note that the work is a "Yun Yizhu Painting."

The estimate provided is based on recent auction estimates and results of other comparable objects by Chinese paintings depicting similar spring scenes, depending on size. The estimate is contingent on a full condition report. Please note asking or dealer prices may vary. Thank you and please take care.
