Thanks for additional pictures. Your art wall hanging was part of a Chinese folding screen to divide a room of add some privacy. These screens are made in traditional way back to ancient history ( Zhou period, 771–256 BC ). When a screen was damaged sometimes some panels were '' saved'' by making it into an other art. I guess that is what happened with your panel. You can see on both sides it came from a larger picture. Folding screens with Stone / shell / bone inlay became popular early 20th century although there are older examples. I believe the screen is from around 1930 and the frame is a little later mid 20th century. It's well done and very decorative so despite of it being a fragment I still believe there is a market for it.
