What does this mean?

Hello Shannon,

I’m glad that you chose Mearto for your online appraisal request,

Considering the photographs, overall pattern, stone quality and the composition,
I concluded that this is a Jade Carved Amulet belonging to the period 1930-1950. The piece is hand carved by probably Chinese artists and exported elsewhere. The carving quality helps me to dtae the item since in earlier 20th and late 19th century the carvings were more detailed and the quality was higher. Still this is a very nice piece, especially a good fit for necklace or bracelet purposes. It seems like the piece was carved based on some floral patterns and upper partf of the piece is characterized by some traditional decoration from China.

Provenance: Was given to the owner by a friend's mother, who is now deceased.

Condition: Perfect condition without any chips or cracks.

120-150$
