Hi just wanted to see if there's any clues to the maker of this doll

Hi Scarlett,
I'm SO sorry this took longer to do than expected; I went through all of my doll books looking for one similar and didn't find any. That said, unmarked dolls of this size and vintage - even in good condition - rarely sell for more than $100 at auction. Vogue made dolls in this period, as did Ideal Novelty & Toy Co., Effanbee and Arranbee but they are usually marked - it would be a detriment to value if this were a doll that had the mark rubbed off or removed.
I'm sorry I couldn't identify the maker but the value is spot on for what dolls of this size and period, by unknown makers, are bringing at auction.
