Dear customer, Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. My sincere apologies for the delay with the appraisal. The presented object appears to be an M26 field jacket of a member of the 9. Panzer Divison of the German Wehrmacht in the rank of an Feldwebel. The jacket has two skulls on the forget patches which indicate that this is a member of the Panzerwaffe. The shoulder patches indicate the rank as a Feldwebel of the 9. Panzer Divison. Additionally to the jacket, we have the ribbon of an Eisernes Kreuz II (Iron Cross Second Class), a Sturmabzeichen (General Assault Badge), and a Verwundetenabzeichen in black (Wound Badge). The field jacket was produced by Gebrüder Venker. The dog tag is sadly not clearly readable because of the corrosion. Comparable objects were recently offered and sold on the international auction market. This piece is in good condition and no severe damage is visible in the images provided. A fair market estimation would be between 1.500 to 3.500 USD. This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary. With kind regards, George
