Woolly Mammoth Humeri Specimens Mammuthus Primigenius Pleistocene epoch, 150 000-20 000 years ago Unknown Excavation Location Both examples show the bone grain and fossilization hues of whites, grays, and areas of red and brown. The Woolly Mammoth Humeri is the long bone that runs from the shoulder and scapula to the elbow. The Mammuthus Primigenius Humeri exhibit well-formed structures on all bone caps and the twist to the superlative long bone. It appears that no amount of restoration is evident; leaving the examples to have a very solid and 'wooden' appearance. The examples are from separate excavations and animals. Measurements: Specimen one: approximate 35 inches; Specimen two: approximate 34 inches. Fair market value assessment is made for both specimens being sold as one lot. Individual valuation would be half of the estimated value noted above.
