While this has archaic elements, the proportions are wrong for this to be truly old; I suspect this is a more modern manufacture and could be either copper or bronze - both acquire that nice verdigris patina with some age. Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: An archaic style Chinese ox-form bronze or copper candelabra probably 19th Century or later The elongated body of an ox mounted with five graduated candle arms, unmarked. 14 inches high, 22 inches long CONDITION: with a verdigris patina and some pitting overall; minor abrasions and surface cracks.
