This is a vintage 20th century, Mid Century Modern style, original small size, 7.5" x 9.5" sight size oil on canvas painting in hand carved wooden frame from Mexico. The painting features a tower bridge over a river in a European city. The work is illegibly signed at lower right. Although this is a European city scene, the canvas stretcher was produced in Glendale, NY by Anco-Bilt. The work is overall influenced by Bernard Buffet paintings from that same era.
