Contrary to popular thought, Beanie Babies failed to be the great investment many hoped they'd be and the vast majority - even the limited edition BB's - are worth less than $50 at auction today. It is simply a matter of too much supply and not enough demand. The fact that there might be "errors" on the tags is not sufficient as those "errors" were made on hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of bears.
