Hello!

I’m very glad that you chose Mearto for your online appraisal.

Considering the photos, this item is:

A beautiful set of mid 20th century (probably 1950 - 1960s) watercolor on paper (probably mulberry paper) unframed. These lithographs belong to the Late Imperial China based on techniques and the individuals depicted with typical traditional clothes or Hanfu. This is the traditional styles of clothing worn by the Han Chinese. There are several representative styles of hanfu, such as the ruqun (an upper-body garment with a long outer skirt), the aoqun (an upper-body garment with a long underskirt), the beizi and the shenyi, and the shanku. Traditionally, hanfu consists of a robe, or a jacket worn as the upper garment with a skirt commonly worn as the lower garment. In addition to clothing, hanfu also includes several forms of accessories, such as headwear, footwear, belts, jewellery such as yupei (jade pendants) and handheld fans.

Along with the iconographies, there is a poem on the painting. No signature, or seal and as there is no document it is an estimation. Good condition, unframed. Mid 20th century.
