Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: A pair of Aesthetic Movement embroidered velvet or chenille portiere panels late 19th Century Each in dark green with outer edge and outer lower corner with cream-colored and metallic thread embroidery, tasseled fringe along outer edges (mostly lacking). Backed with printed cotton or linen. Unmarked/unsigned. each 49 by 80 inches CONDITION: With some wear, fading, minor staining and minor losses to fringe.
