The rifle is a Turkish Mauser, designated “1934” on the receiver. The gun is in good condition, visible scratching on the wood and metal. The rifle has a wood hand guard all along the barrel, which finishes at a metal bayonet T insert (no bayonet included however). The receiver has a Crescent Moon and Star, above which is inscribed “T.C.” and below which is inscribed “AS.FA ANKARA 1934”. There is what appears to be Arabic writing inscribed on the side of the receiver. Also, on the back of the receiver: “8644”, and “88” on the base of the bolt. Two sling hooks on stock and forearm of rifle, two holes on each side of the butt.
