Tri-fold door with leaded glass, Frank Lloyd Wright

I have a wooden tri-fold door with leaded glass in what I believe is modeled after Frank Lloyd Wright’s Autumn Sumac pattern. The door measures ~76” tall x 36”wide. Each section is ~10½” wide. There are no missing glass sections. There is one hand pull, four hinges, and two ½ hinges. There is a brass badge along one side, which reads, “Frank Lloyd Wright Design by E.B Hunter Co.”

Hi Brett, Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. This is a lovely set of doors. I've not been able to find anything out about the maker (E.B. Hunter Co) nor have I found any comparable sales (at auction) of folding doors but similar single-panel doors made in the style of FL Wright have brought between $500-2,000 at auction recently. Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: A Frank Lloyd Wright style three-panel golden oak and leaded glass folding door After the Autumn Sumac pattern, made by E.B. Hunter Co., early 20th Century Each hinged panel framed around leaded glass panels composed to create an overall unified composition; bearing a brass plaque marked “Frank Lloyd Wright Design by E.B Hunter Co.” 76 inches tall, each panel 10 1/2 inches wide, 36 inches wide overall CONDITION: appears to be in good condition. PROVENANCE: acquired in th emid-1990’s from an amateur barn-style auction in Northern Colorado $1,000-1,500* *represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
