The piece dates back to the period between 1960-1980. The piece's geometrical patterns are constructed by smaller squares in various colours. The piece has dark saffron, pale green, ivory, pruple and pale blue as it's colours as well as black to it's borders. During the mid century this geometrical construction design was pretty common in the market. Kilims are quite different from the rugs in terms of design and knotting technique.
