Barber with those dates, and this landscape is very similar to those painted by T.S. Barber (sometimes a J looks like a T in a signature). Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: Thomas Stanley Barber (English, working 1891-1899) "The Duck Pond", circa 1890s oil on canvas, framed 34 1/2 by 30 1/2 inches CONDITION: appears to be in good condition PROVENANCE: inherited $300-500* *represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
