The dimensions of this textile art is 15 1/4" x 11 1/4" overall inside a thin wood frame. The mat is made from what appears to be a textured silk. A wooden board is behind the artwork and it is under glass. The embroidery work is done on what appears to be black silk and seems to be completely free form without a pattern. Some of the thread is metallic. I took it out of the frame, and the textile work measures 7 1/4" x 11 1/2". The back is interesting as you cannot see the threads because it is covered in what appears to be rice paper. The work is finely detailed. The last five images are taken without the frame and glass.
