Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry, and I apologize for the delay. This is a British 1821 pattern officer's sword made by the James Wilkinson and Son Company in England. This sword is in fair condition. The steel shows pitting and light rust throughout, and most of the etching on the blade is faded or illegible. The scabbard is entirely rusted. The grip is in good shape, with the fish-skin intact and the wire wrapping still present. Given the condition of this piece, and completed auctions of similar items, a fair market estimation is 375-425 GBP. Please reach out with any questions. Bo Stuck
