Dear Robin, Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. The presented object appears to be a painting made in oil paint on canvas with 32 x 38 inches measurements. The painting depicts a still life with a plaster sculpture, painting accessories, a shell goblet, a vase, and books. This painting appears to be not signed. Such motifs were common in Europe in the late 19th century, especially in German-speaking countries and France. Comparable objects were recently offered and sold on the international auction market. This piece is in good condition and no severe damage is visible in the images provided. A fair market estimation would be between 250 to 500 USD. This estimate is based on recently recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary. With kind regards, George
