Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: An antique French provincial style carved mahogany ladies secretary desk late 19th / early 20th Century The rectangular overhanging top over a hinged writing surface folding open to reveal a divided writing interior, over a long drawer, all raised on tall cabriole legs. The back stenciled "MHG / Desk No 55 / 114." (DIMENSIONS) CONDITION: appears to be in good condition with wear commensurate to age and use.
