Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: An antique carved cow's powderhorn American or English, dated 1819 The curved horn with carved wooden plug and cap at the end, the body incise-engraved with a bird, crossed swords(?) over a wingspread eagle flanked by a horse and deer, over the words "PEACE AND FRIENDSHIP / Henry Pole 1819", with wooden (DIMENSIONS) CONDITION: appears to be in good condition with wear and patina commensurate with age and use PROVENANCE: inherited $500-700* *represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
