Hello Michele, I’m very glad that you chose Mearto for your online appraisal, Considering the photographs, overall pattern, mark and the colours, I concluded that this is a Japanese made Royal Sealy China Teacup, dating between 1950-1960. During this period your piece's decoration which includes mother of pearl type of reflections and a very pale green colour was very popular. Your pieces decorations are printed. There is a central floral decoration visible on the saucer. Also the piece adapts a lobed shpae which resembles a half pumpkin. The mark underneath the piece was used during 1940-1970 period. Royal Sealy China is an average export quality producer from Japan, known for their considerably affordable but luxurious looking products back in the mid-century. Decorations are printed. Dimensions: Unknown Condition: In good condition without any visible damage. Provenance: Purchased from an estate sale in early 1990's. Gilted and floral decoration. 10-30$.
