Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a late 19th century German Royal Bonn earthenware vase manufactured by Steingutfabrik Franz Anton Mehlem. The lidded baluster vase is decorated in underglaze cobalt blue, hand painted and gilt in the neo rococo style. The company also used the transfer printing technique, based on the images provided it is impossible to tell whether this in part might be printed. The Steingutfabrik Franz Anton Mehlem in Bonn produced from 1838-1931. The date 1755 refers to the founding of the Poppelsdorfer Faience Fabrique which was located at the same place. The lidded vase or urn in your possession is one of the better pieces produced by Royal Bonn. The estimate is based on similar sold at auction. Prices in the trade can be higher and can vary.
