Hello Louise, I’m very glad that you chose Mearto for your online appraisal, Considering the photographs, overall pattern, glass qaulity and the colours, I concluded that this is an Entirely Hand Blown and Hand Decorated Murano Glass Set of Water Glasses. The set dates back to the epriod from 1980 to 2000. The set is composed of 6 individual piece of water glasses in cylindrical classical shape. The pieces are decorated with golden accents and with gilt on an intense red Murano Glass body. Each piece is also decorated by hand florally and geometrically. Only one facade is florally decorated by use of embossed applications. On these piece a longer type of floral motif was used when compared to Liquor and Wine Glasses. This motif is a longer branch with flowers of different colours on it. The pieces' rims' are highlighted with a different tone of gold colour. The set is in good condition without any visible problems. Entirely hand blown Murano Glass.
