Dear Garo, Thank you for your help and patience. The presented object appears to be a pair of cased miniature pistols made by Prevost in Paris. The probably working miniature pistols have a flintlock system and a round cannon-shaped barrel, and the metal fittings are made out of gilt metal probably bronze. The case has a gilt inlay with a powder vessel and other accessories for the care of the pistols. Such miniature pistols were made as court presents often to children. The lockplate is engraved by the gunsmith Prevost who was active in the second half of the 18th century in Paris France. Comparable objects were recently offered and sold on the international auction market. This piece is in good condition and no severe damage is visible in the images provided. A fair market estimation would be between 1.500 to 4.000 USD. This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary. The crystal stones need to be tested physically and their material value had to be added to the estimate. With kind regards, Gregory
