Hello Camilla, I am so very sorry for the delay in your appraisals. I was on vacation last week and other specialists were suppose to cover this category. I very much apologize. This item appears to be another one of those "sonriente" (smiling) figures. However, this one appears to have been decapitated. The figure was likely standing and resembles other examples of the Remojados culture from Veracruz. As previously mentioned, dating the item would require in-person examination.
