Hello John, I’m very glad that you chose Mearto for your online appraisal, Considering the photographs, overall pattern, glass quality and the colours, I concluded that this is an entirely hand painted and hand cut pair of Moser Glass style Bohemian Cut Glass Candle Holders. The pair likely dates back to the period from 1950 to 1970. Double skinned Bohemian pieces were very decorative and prestigious items starting from the late 19th century. The pieces were stylized as small standing chandeliers as you can observe the hanging glass decoration from the exterior of the neck. The pair has a pinkish tone inside while on the outside it has a soft and smooth white. The piece was decorated with rose figures along it's pattern. The cut areas are showing the interior colour by extending the decorative value and imitating the Moser style. The pieces are also decorated with golden stripes on it's lobes. Earlier piece had more decorational elements on them painting wise and higher quality usually. Hence, the piece is from the indicated periods. The pieces appears to be in good condition without any visible significant damage. Entirely hand made and painted. Dimensions: 12 Inches High and 7 Inches Wide Condition: The pieces appears to be in good condition without any visible significant damage. Provenance: These pieces were in the owner's mother's house for several decades. 200-300$ for the pair.
