Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: A vintage/antique Poole mahogany upright piano Serial number 55160 - circa 1910-1915 The paneled top with stylized acanthus top music stand flanked by Ionic colonnettes, the keyboard cover with painted and parcel-gilt stencil logo, rounded ends with waterleaf carving, raised on Ionic column-form legs. 57 inches high, 62 inches wide, 28 inches deep CONDITION: this piano appears to have been restored in 1954; the client attests this piano is "in need of some TLC" PROVENANCE: inherited $ 6,000-8,000* *represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
